Hi Landis!,

I hope everything is going really well for you, Gregg and all the pups, as well as adults! By the time you get this, I'll bet your new puppies will be half grown up! I should let you know, Kobuk is absolutely huge, very well dispositioned, extremely handsome and has a fabulous temperament. We trim his nails once a week and he's lost most of his puppy teeth by now. He sure went through a couple days where he felt crummy, but he's doing much better now. His adult teeth are exceptional, like he is... Can't tell we're proud of him or bragging on him, can you?? I'd say he weighs 60 plus (?) pounds (and growing) or so by now. Everybody wants to keep feeding him treats and people food, but we won't let them. He is still curious about the three kitties, and can't figure out why he doesn't fit under the bed to get to them...Muffin, the youngest one will love on him, and he lets her now without chasing her. I'll tell you what, we couldn't be happier, Landis. You sure did us right by letting us purchase him. He's a wonderful companion, and oh so adult...he'll scare the you-know-what out of anyone he doesn't like or trust, and you know, he goes with us everywhere. We've done some researching to get him in puppy classes, but we always get this sense of casualness, if you know what I mean. We wanted to get him in classes earlier, and he's 5 months, he's still young yet. We'd also be interested in Schutzhund training too. Do you have any recommendations for good trainers for him? Who was the male you'd planned to breed with Vashon next spring, before Cohen? He's beautiful! How are you doing?? How's Cohen, Vashon and Adia? How are all of Kobuk's other siblings? You must be swamped, but having fun now that you have tons of space and privacy to do your thing with your dogs! We feel so lucky to have met you! Let's get together sometime.

Landis,

Dieter is beautiful and without a doubt the best dog I have ever had. We love him soooo much and he is our protector and friend. Nothing gets past Dieter unless he knows you or I say so. He checks on everyone every night and positions himself strategically to make sure no one we do not know gets close without permission. I do not think any other dog does the hold and bark as well as Dieter! He is not all protector though, he is loving like I have never seen, kisses like crazy and loves to lay next to you where he can touch you with one of his front paws and then just leave it there. He puts his arm around you and relaxes. I could not be happier and I will send you pictures of him and his friend and brother "Kleiner Sheisher" A shi-poo that is 2 years old, Dieters best friend. I will get them to you soon.

Hi, its John,

Happy New Year.
I am writing to tell you how healthy Dieter is. I am thinking about taking those natural NuVet vitamins myself. Dieter has a coat to die for. I do not even know where to start telling you what an absolute joy Dieter is. We love him beyond words. His personality is one I have never seen before and his protection instincts and courage are unbelieveable. He is at the same time, to his family, the most loving dog I have ever had. He checks up on us constantly. He moves from room to room and when he is satisfied, he will lay down and relax. He has a play instinct next to none. All by himself he will stay busy for hours, but no one will let him, they just want to play and hug him. When a member of my family is out for the evening he will lay within sight of the door and wait until everyone is home and only then will he come upstairs to my room and lay at the door looking out to the hallway. In the middle of the night I can hear him checking every room and then come back and lay down. He is getting big 87 pounds but lean and strong. He can never pass you by without somehow touching you slightly as he goes by. I could go on forever but I know that you know. If you ever need a recomendation or you want me to talk to a prospective buyer, I would be happy to do so. I have had Shepherds all my life and have never had a smarter more loyal dog, very willing to follow commands, ever. I am so glad I found you and your wonderful dogs. Its like it was meant to be. Please keep in touch and guide us if you think there is more we can do for Dieter, because he has brought so much to me and my family. He is fearless, his love for water is incredible, he will walk in the bathroom and go into the tub and wait to see if he can have a bath. When he gets brushed he sits calmly and quiet, he will lift his leg so I can brush under his arms. No noise or sudden movement ever startles him, ever, you can not get him off guard. He studies everthing and learns his commands right away like he understands. He is very good on a leash and loves his trips to different places. I could go on and on but I will spare you. Again, thank you.
